- Amy Tenderich is a journalist / patient blogger who started DiabetesMine.com after her diagnosis with Type 1 diabetes in 2003. - Andrea Bradley has had type 1 diabetes since 1996. After seeing two family members pass away from complications of diabetes, spotting the warning signs of diabetes in her family she decided to create the diabetes awareness ribbon campaign. - iPump.org - iPump.org is a 501(c)(3) public charity with the mission to save the lives of people with diabetes until there is a cure.
