What activity are you planning for World Diabetes Day?

Maybe it's a small walk. Maybe you are organizing your neighborhood to light up all houses in blue. Maybe you are having a small rally or you are giving out information to people on the street.

Every bit counts! And we want to know about any events that you are planning to do for World Diabetes Day. That way people who visit this page can learn about things they can participate in to celebrate this important day.

Once you've left a comment with the details about your World Diabetes Day activity here, please make sure to post the event on the World Diabetes Day web site too. They are keeping track of all WDD events around the world.

Caleb's school is having a spirit day on November 13th (because there is no school on Saturday the 14th) in his honor. Everyone is being asked to wear blue and donate a dollar to the cause to find a cure for diabetes.

I am a CDE and planned a Diabetes seminar for the organization's employees with Diabetes.

We are holding a World Diabetes Day Event on Tuesday, November 17th Paradise Community Park from 5:00 – 6:00pm.

Welcome and Opening – Frankie Rutledge, Mayor of Paradise

Everyone is invited to this free Candlelight Ceremony where will create a circle of unity and light to demonstrate our united voice for diabetes awareness.

We will be providing blue glow bracelets, candles and information.
